Design Technician - ChicagoJob Summary:
Create comprehensive AutoCAD drawings from schematic design to construction documents to be used for client presentations, bidding, and building construction. Research, create, and develop AutoCAD details for various construction methods to include specific material requirements. Assist Project Architect, Project Manager, and clients by developing architectural graphics and computer drawings, which serve to accomplish the aesthetic and functional needs of the client. Demonstrate general knowledge of code requirements. Demonstrate dependability through proactive attention to detail and meeting project requirements in a timely manner. Assist with the completion of construction drawings and specifications. Develop construction details. Provide assistance of the operations department during the construction phase to reflect and track changes creating a "record" drawing set. Visit project sites to measure and document exact dimensions of existing conditions for use in design of additions and renovations. Participate in development of systems and processes. Must keep thorough organization and archiving of documentation associated with projects. Work closely with Project Architect to ensure that project budgets are maintained. Qualifications:
Technical Drafting Degree related with drafting emphasis. Proficient in AutoCAD. Minimum of 3 years experience with an aptitude to perform mathematical calculations including basic trigonometry. To Apply for this position:

Architect - Indianapolis & ChicagoJob Summary:
Lead a team that researches, plans, and designs projects for Aspen Group customers by applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning building codes and building materials. Preplan design work for each phase of the project that ensures process compliance, realistic timelines, completeness and team effectiveness. Assist Project Developers during the sales process as an ambassador to the Aspen Group Design Team. Consult with customers to determine functional aesthetic and spatial requirements of new structures or renovation. Coordinate the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design process. Establish client and internal progress meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance. Track and coordinate design progress, schedule and costs, and monitor compliance with process checklists. Supervise the work of designers and interns; coordinate the work of non-Aspen Group design consultants. Coordinate and incorporate design changes. Qualifications:
